Can Families Participate?
Scouting is a great way to bring families together, centered on a year round theme. We provide and encourage hands on learning, teamwork, and self motivation for all Cub Scouts and their families.
We encourage family participation in all events, including camping. We sponsor at least two family style camping trips per year. We also participate in the annual Chuckwagon Event, sponsored by Cranberry Harbors District.
How old is the Pack?
Our pack was established in 2007. We actively support and promote the values of the Cub Scouts of America. Each year, we tie the CSA program around a new annual theme (Pirates, The West, Space, etc.) to add the fun and excitement!
How often are meetings held?
Pack meetings are held monthly during the school year (commonly on the last Tuesday of the month) at our Charter Organization's location; The Moose Lodge - Plymouth - at 6:30 PM. http://lodge2485.moosepages.org/
Throughout the summer, we also host monthly events for our scouts and families.
At the den level, each rank in the program is tailored to meet and challenge the skill sets of the boy's based on their grade levels. Dens meet weekly or bi-weekly at various locations within Plymouth.
If our son did not join in first grade, is it too late?
The Scout program is "modular". Your son(s) can join at any grade level. For example, if you have a Wolf Scout that was unable to join as a Tiger Scout, please don't miss the opportunity to become a part of the fun this year!
We are very proud of our pack's progess, since it's establishment in 2007. We actively promote the NOVA award in support of the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) through fun, hands on learning programs.
As a pack, we have "crossed over" a large percentage of our Cub Scouts to Boy Scout Troop 151. Many of those scouts have earned the prestigious BSA rank of Eagle Scout!
COME, JOIN THE FUN WITH PACK 151!
